Paper Placemats - Osteria Nosetta, Verona

Set of two illustrations to be printed on paper placemats for Osteria Nosetta, a typical Italian local bar/restaurant in Verona. Nosetta means "little nut" in Italian, hence a nut as character of our one page story.
Drawings were made with an ink brush on paper, scanned and adjusted in Photoshop for printing.
Here's some other ideas and sketches I did to get the hang of how to draw a nut...or a blob that resemble one at least!
This I still like, but I won't go down the line of explaining it in English XD Also did a few copies of the glass one in a Black & Red Risograph print.
